From September 1, 2007, Suomen Terveystalo Group will be Finland's leading provider of healthcare services. The Group is Finland's largest provider in terms of turnover and number of offices. The Company offers healthcare, occupational health and hospital services for corporations and private individuals in Finland. The company's strong position is based on versatile medical expertise and good availability of services ensured by a vast network.
Throughout its history Suomen Terveystalo has grown potently both organically and through acquisitions.
The company's January-September 2007 turnover amounted to EUR 87.8 million (EUR 61.8 million in January-September 2006) and operating profit was EUR 0.3 million (EUR 3.3 million). The company's turnover amounted to EUR 88.9 million in 2006 (EUR 65.5 million in 2005) and operating profit was EUR 5.1 million (EUR 5.6 million in 2005). Operating profit was 5.7 per cent of turnover (8.5% in 2005).
The aim of the company is to be the leading private provider of healthcare services in Finland, measured by turnover, by the end of 2008.
